SOS Kit Aid Announces New Partnership with W Rugby - See More Below

SOS Kit Aid is delighted to announce a partnership deal with new UK rugby ball supplier, W RUGBY.

The deal between this well-known rugby charity and the new UK rugby ball supplier will see the two parties working hand in hand to support grassroots rugby globally.  Through their partnership, they will deliver brand new rugby balls to clubs, schools and communities around the world, who struggle to raise funds for rugby equipment.

W RUGBY are leaders in rugby inclusivity.  They have committed to donating at least 300 Academy training balls over the coming months to SOS Kit Aid, and on top of that,  for every rugby ball which is purchased, they will donate another straight back into grassroots rugby, through their Won for Won Project.

John Broadfoot, CEO of SOS Kit Aid said, “We’re thrilled to be in partnership with a company who shares the same vision and values.  We are both focussed on helping disadvantaged grassroots rugby countries, whilst at the same time protecting the environment.”

W RUGBY founders, Dovy Cornerford and Andy Lewis said,” Establishing a partnership with a well-established charity such as SOS Kit Aid that has already done so much for the rugby community around the world will help us take Project: Won for Won to the next level.  It means we can have a greater positive impact on young people playing rugby globally, giving back to grassroots, where it’s needed most.”

Kit Collections Are Restarting

With the changes to government Covid Guidelines taking coming into effect on Monday 29th March we are very pleased to announce that SOS Kit Aid will be restarting kit collections around the UK. There are a number of requests in the pipeline but we aim to clear the backlog as soon as possible. We will also be aiming to make mutiple collections on each trip in order to minimize the number of tourneys made and will need to carry out the collections outdoors.

Many thanks for your patience and please keep the kit donations coming.
