Welcome Alan Watt as a Supporting Celebrity

SOS Kit Aid is delighted to welcome former Scotland International and Barbarian Alan Watt as a supporter of our wonderful charity. Alan played club and representative rugby between 1986 and 2001 and made 3 appearances for Scotland. Currently working at Wallace High School in Stirling Alan will be helping Kit Aid whenever time permits. Many thanks Alan for offering your support, we look forward to working with you to help children arround the world play our great game.

Many Thanks to Hazlegrove School

Very many thanks to Hazlegrove School in Somerset for their very generous donation of new and used kit - both bins were full to the brim! Special thanks to these two young ladies, (pictured with Ross Young), who helped with the collection and especially to Ali Hunter who organised it. This is the first collection in the SW for some time. Let us hope things get back to normal in 2021!

A Sad Farewell to Ray Prosser

SOS is very much part of the World rugby community and we’re always sad to see one of the best leave us. Ray Prosser, was a Wales and British & Irish Lions player and a great friend of Graham Price who is an outstanding Ambassador for SOS Kit Aid. Ray had a good ‘innings’ of 93 years and will be sorely missed by the rugby family. Our thoughts are with his friends and family. R.I.P.

Golf Days Planned for 2021 (See Below)

In expectation that the virus won’t be around forever, SOS Kit Aid is already confidently planning next year’s ever popular SOS Golf Days. Please put these dates in your diary - more details  will follow in due course. 

Spring SOS Golf Day - Thursday 27th May 2021 - Ullesthorpe Court Hotel and Golf Club, South Leicestershire.

Summer SOS Golf Day - Friday 25th June 2021 - Staining Lodge Golf Club , Blackpool.

Autumn SOS Golf Day - Friday 10th September 2021, Kingswdown Golf Club, nr Corsham, Wilts.

Paul Beet Donates Rugby Balls to Lithuanian Teams

Various Lithuanian Rugby Teams have received their new SOS Kit Aid Rugby Balls, kindly donated by Paul Beet of Astra Security Ltd. Huge thanks to Paul for his generous support. Once again thank you also to Irmantas Kukulskis, President of Lithuanian rugby federation for arranging this and for the photos.
