SOS Kit Aid


Exmouth RFC from Devon have collected almost 200 rugby shirts to go alongside additional rugby kit and equipment and donated it to LV= SOS Kit Aid.

Exmouth RFC founded in 1873, one of the oldest clubs in the country, has donated 188 shirts, plus other rugby clothing to the charity. The 1st XV play in National 3 South West finishing fourth last season and also retaining the Devon Senior Cup for the second year running, winning the final away from home.

The Club boast a strong 2nd XV, 3rd XV and U18's Colts side. The backbone of the club is the Junior section formed in 1977 with sides from under 6 to 16 and girls rugby at U13/15/18. With strong links in the wider community Exmouth RFC  are going from strength to strength playing a sustainable brand of rugby, an amateur club with a professional approach.

Ross Young, South West Director of LV=SOS Kit Aid said: 'We are hugely grateful to the club in particular to Chris Wright, Director of Rugby, for organising the collection which will be redistributed to disadvantaged groups in many countries in the near future. This is the beginning of a strong association with Exmouth RFC."
