Great Support from Samurai

John Broadfoot, CEO of SOS Kit Aid, was delighted to receive a very generous donation of 27 boxes of brand new kit from Samurai International, near Norwich, last week. Another Brilliant SOS Kit Aid Golf Day at Kingsdown

Thirty three teams took part in the Annual SOS Golf day on Friday 30th August at Kingsdown GC, supported by SOS Ambassadors Gareth Chilcott, Simon Devereux, Dave Trick, John Taylor and Graham Price. It was a fantastic day for the charity raising much needed funds to deliver kit to the various Countries to be used by a growing number of underprivileged kids.

The late summer sun shone brightly, the Ambassadors and the SOS team worked tirelessly to ensure that all the players were kept well hydrated and fed thanks to our very kind sponsors.

Said Organiser, Richard Westaway “It’s a massive day for SOS Kit Aid being that it’s one of our key fund raising events. It’s very heart-warming to receive so much support for our charity's efforts so an immense thank you to all of our sponsors and supporters for such a great day ….. indications are that we have raised a significant amount of money.”

The winners were Lee Sumision with a fine individual score of 45 points and the team prize went to Liam Giles' team – Spindogs with 95points

A huge thanks to Kingsdown Golf Club and to everyone who took part and supported us on the day.
