A new Official Partner for our Golf Events

This week, we are delighted to announce a new partnership with Halbro Sportswear, which will see the long-established leading sportwear provider as the Official Partner supporting our annual golf days.

The partnership is a really good fit with our charity, and shares many of the same goals and values.

Halbro is a family run business which was set up over 100 years ago, and has a history steeped in rugby, although their product range is now greatly expanded, and they can cater for any garment needed for pretty much all sports.

As a main SOS Kit Aid partner, we will be working with Halbro supporting our 3 annual golf days which kick off at Staining Lodge Golf Club, Blackpool on 23rdJune, closely followed by the other 2, with the East Midlands one taking place on 5th August, and the South West event happening on 9th September.

Our golf days are a great way of allowing our supporters to get together, enjoy a game of golf whilst raising much needed funds at the same time.

Fergus Farrell, Head of Sales at Halbro said, “Halbro are delighted to be working even closer with SOS Kit Aid. As a company we are always looking at ways to be more sustainable. You only need to take a look at SOS, and the great work they do, not just for the environment, but also how the donated kits affects people’s lives. Their strapline ‘swapping landfill for laughter’ was something we simply had to support”

Halbro has supported SOS Kit Aid for a number of years, and we are thrilled to see their partnership extended, and look forward to a long-term and successful relationship.

SOS Kit Aid distributes second-hand and unused new rugby kits to disadvantaged youngsters all over the world.  We are now in our 21st year, and through our network of relationships,  we harness the power of rugby and sport to make a positive impact on young people’s lives.  On top of that, we help protect the environment by saving valuable UK landfill sites from vast amounts of unwanted kit and reducing harmful CO2 emissions.
