SOS KIT AID is proud to share the news that one of our most respected donors, Bill Ryan of Saltash Rugby Club in Cornwall, has been awarded the British Empire Medal in the King’s New Year Honours list, for ‘Services to Rugby’ in Cornwall.

From the earliest days of Saltash Rugby Football Club, Bill laid the foundations – brick by brick – for what has become not just a club, but a family.

Generations of players have worn the shirt with pride thanks to the vision, sacrifice and drive that Bill poured into the red, black and gold of Saltash RFC.

His influence has also reached far beyond Saltash Rugby, as he has organised many donations of rugby kit to the SOS KIT AID charity, kit which has been sent all over the world to help disadvantaged children and young adults learn to play rugby.
