A big THANK-YOU to Alistair Hands, of Stamford RUFC, for bringing a huge bag of shirts and a sack of rugby balls over to Sleaford Rugby Club for collection. This kit really will help to make a difference to young rugby players around the globe. Stamford’s continued support, of SOS Kit Aid, is greatly appreciated.
Founded in 1902, Stamford Rugby Club has been at the very heart of rugby union in Rutland and Lincolnshire. Their 1st XV play in the East Midlands Division, supported by their Colts and Vets teams. Community is at the core of the Club and they support all age groups from U5s through to U16s, with RFU qualified coaches. They hold one of the largest rugby festivals in the UK and regularly run tours for all age groups. They are an affiliate of the RFU and promote the rugby core values of; Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline & Sportsmanship.
SOS Kit Aid collects new and quality, used sports kit (shirts, shorts, socks, boots, balls etc) and sends it all over the world to disadvantaged children and young adults so that they can play rugby. If, like Stamford, your club or school would like to donate kit, please go to: www.soskitaid.com/i-want-to-donate
