Barking RFC make christmas kit donation

Thanks to Barking Rugby Club in Essex for a great donation of kit to LV= SOS Kit Aid. Regional director for the East region, Roy Marfleet, was on hand to collect the kit from Ray Steadman of Barking RFC just prior to Christmas, to ensure that young people in the UK and overseas will benefit from the donation in 2013.

Thurrock RFC made a great contribution of rugby kit to LV= SOS Kit Aid in October, while Bishop Stortford School from Hertfordshire made a huge contribution to the kit recycling initiative by donating a large amount of cricket and rugby kit.

The Hertfordshire school organised a week long kit collection with specially made bins located around the school to collect kit. The school is set to make another big donation of kit in 2012 and some of their pupils may also be doing the LV= SOS Community Project as part of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme.
